Unable to buy Resource Probes

I was sending one of my ships around dropping satellites and probes. I sent it to PAR Paranid Wharf in Trinity Sanctum III and chose to buy some resource probes. The ship has been stuck in there for 3 days now. I can't cancel the order. I can't get the pilot to leave their seat. The ship is now permanently lost.

Perhaps we should be able to buy consumables without having to wait for ships in the construction queue to finish. My game has two wharfs (that I know of) that stopped working. (Steam purchase, auto updates enabled)
