Do they, when set on exploration? When you select a spot for exploration for an NPC, it shows a big 3D circle, suggesting that at that spot they stop and do a long range scan, potentially revealing stations within the given radius. But, I have no idea whether they actually do a long range scan at these spots. As far as I can tell, the "explore" command for them is little more than a "fly to" command, I am not sure if they are actually exploring in these instances.
On the topic of long range scanners, I feel the more expensive versions should grant a longer range conventional radar range, much like the difference between a triplex and duplex scanner in X3.

First, dont use explore its absolutely BS. Use the fly to, dot the action around the sector. As for scanner I would like to know this too.Falcrack wrote: ↑Mon, 17.
