I popped onto a stream last night where the player was attacking a construction vessel a few km off a station. After he blew up what seemed like every other ship component, the following exchange ensued:
- station command appears on the monitor and tells player off
- they pop in again and address the police
- the police appears for a "what's up?"
- station command is back with "sending details"
- the police again, acknowledging
I.e. the same thing we saw in Rebirth. It's like "you were warned, pirate ships will hunt you down like vermin" on steroids. It takes like what, 10-15 seconds? Happens way too often, is utterly pointless, all the while blocking off the info monitor, i.e. the details of your target, while the player is in combat. I didn't understand that in Rebirth, and I don't see the point of it here, it was irritating for a player, and sure is irritating to watch. They're communicating with each other, not the player. What the hell are they doing on player's screen??? If removing it completely is too much, then at least now that the game has the "background chatter", it'd be best to move that communication there, i.e. out of the player's face.
Station communicating with police takes way too much time and space

I agree it`s kinda dumb that they show you they`re calling the Police as if they`re saying, "SEE! We told you we`d call the Police!" which is silly.radcapricorn wrote: ↑Sun, 16. What they should have done is have the Station quit after warning you, then have a Cop forcefully patch-comms into your ship with, "We have been informed by Station Security of your actions. Surrender or be shot down!"
I guess Egosoft Devs never thought of that.
1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
Yes, for immersion. Thankyou ahead of time. (Edit: This is actually happening!!!)

Yeah, but even that would be too much if they still do it after every station complaint. Like, seriously, one warning is enough. Especially when the station is already red.Socratatus wrote: ↑Sun, 16.
