Very weird connection issue [Solved by OS update]

For some reason, every time i start X4:Foundations my router disconnects and only manages to reconnect if i quit the game.
I am playing on the latest version (1.32), and this problem only started yesterday night.

I did play a few hours before the problem ever occurred. I am on WIndows 10, the game is not modified in any way, and i am playing from Steam,
the only background programs running are Discord, AORUS Engine and Avast Antivirus (Set to ignore X4), and NVIDIA GeForce Experience.

I cannot provide any crash reports, since the game does not crash nor does anything weird.

I suggest you look at things like your router, DNS and firewall settings. The game itself can't disconnect your router.

Most of your recent Windows Error Reports are either StoreAgentDownloadFailure1 or WindowsUpdateFailure3. I think what may be happening is that when you load X4 on Steam, Windows or Steam checks for an update and that fails in a way that signals a system security issue and so causes your internet to shut down as a precaution.

Please check your Win10 store cache for any reported issues and that your OS is fully updated. I would also do an antivirus and malware protection run as a precaution.

You can also verify the X4 Steam gamefiles cache to check that your installation since the 1.32 update has not corrupted.

After that if still having the issue, you could try different game and Steam online/offline options and disabling your other running apps to try to eliminate or confirm suspects.

I have found the issue!

It was just my OS, it needed to update.
Now it works fine, thanks for the help!
