Transfer equipment between ships

Is it possible to transfer equipment, for example, engines, turrets, software etc. between ships? I was looking at this last night and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

This is also a suggestion I put in, but 0 response. Its dumb and stupid that we cannot store the weapons we buy. We have to keep going to sell and buy other weapons, which continues to be done at a loss for us.
We should be able to store equipment, so we can swap them out when we feel like at the PHQ. We should be able to strip captures down keep there stuff, sell hull if we wanted..

but nope, X4 has totally turned out to be an arcade game.

This should be a simple thing to do with both ships docked.

Too many of these simple features are missing, to call this X4 is being disingenuous to the previous X games, this is very much a rebirth sequel in my eyes.

Just to be honest. Rebirth was a rare piece of hot steaming shit. And I feel very sad that X4 has much of inheritance of that

Same transfer problems here. The ship-info-menu has the options, but nothing happens. Worse even, if you command a ship to exchange wares not other orders are accepted.
Bugged all around I would say...
