[1.32] Game freezes after 5 minutes of gameplay

I have had no issues with freezes in the first 140 hours of gameplay. Since 1.32 i have had about 40 freezes, the PC had to be rebooted every time b/c Steam would show X4 as 'running'.

I doubt that the issue is only 1.32 related, because I can play a new game with no problems in over 2 hours of gameplay.

Mostly the freezes occur in map mode - but that may be because I am mostly in map mode.

I cannot give very meaningful feedback as to when the freezes occur other than that it's 5-10 minutes after loading the game. I would recommend staying in map mode. I have seen other players reporting that their games freeze / crash after a few minutes in game.

I hope this can be fixed as I really enjoy the game. But right now it is unplayable.

Sorry to hear that the game causes regular freezes for you. Could you contact us at crash@egosoft.com ? We'd be quite interested in getting down to the bottom of what's causing these freezes in your case.

I have the same issue was going to fly through a super highway and was stuck on an invisible ship, there was a box I could click it and attack it drains its shield a bit but it was not visible, messed around a bit then turned auto pilot on and off a few times and finally was launched 8713km out to the middle of no where. Tried the quick save just before I entered the highway but when entered it with threw me into a station or out into the middle of nowhere. I finally flew elsewhere and then used auto pilot to get past the block and to Silent Witness area. The game ran fine till that point now it freezes after 10 min of playing and happens only in map or station build/logistic screen. Going to try SETA now and see if accelerated time causes it to happen sooner or not.
