Set to defend while docked?

Just curious if there is a way like in previous X games to have a ship docked at what it's defending, and automatically take off when whatever it's defending (a larger ship or station) is attacked. Currently the only defend command I can find has them fly next to the ship/station, causing me to have to manually send them to dock and launch when attacked.
