Station Help Needed

i have built a energy cell and storage, then i assigned a trader to the station to trade but he wont pick up my energy cells and go sell them.

i have a manager but he is a total retard as he has no stars at all. is this the problem maybe?

Retard is the keyword :-)
We used to be able to hire able crewmember/manager from CVs, but that ability has been nn.... err "taken away".

Your best bet now is to train pilots with Trade-Galaxy on S ships to increase their skills, and promote the pilot into a manager.

No, your trader should work without the manager interfering. Maybe try the export order?

Have you checked the selling price? In my save nobody needs energy cells an such the manager will only create a sell order at 10-11 if the storage is full, maybe that same price level applies to the trader??

thanks for the replys, he finally landed and loaded 160 energy cells and now he just sitting there . i have now created silicon wafer module and assigned a drill vanguard, and he started mining immediately. i will see if he will load the wafers when they get built. and go trade them maybe.


how do you get a workforce, do you need habitat module built for that?

Yes Workforce appears slowly automatically ONCE a habitat is built. They are not required, as station works at 100% without workforce, but adding a workforce increases the overall percentage output crafted.
