Signal leak location 1.32

Has anyone had the issue where the signal link graphic, sound, and scan point are all in different locations?

I have come across this on an abandoned ship and on a data vault where I hear the leak on one end, see the leak on another and it's not scannable no matter how close I get. So I assume the scan point is at another spot because I have tried to to find it around where I hear it loudest.

Also to note, reloading the save does seem to fix it.
