1.32 BUG Station Build plans reverting to older version? - Fix in 1.60

Version and language: 1.3.2 English
No mods
Can't remember the name of game start - basic pilot one

My PHQ is getting larger, I noticed that when I go in to build mode, add a lot more modules to the queue, and then come back later (after saves and loads) all my design is gone and it looks like the plan has reverted to an earlier point (including deleted modules etc.

It's a common mistake to forget to submit your changes. Are you sure you're not doing that?

WHilst I would agree normally CBJ, just had that happen to me then the game crashed,

Was testing to see if regular stations lost their logistics page after 50 production modules (they do, does return if reduced as with PHQ) but I kept going as it genuinely looks like a cosmetic load issue but I lost all ability to access the manage funds button at around 60-70 and my last addition, with 100+ production modules, 20+ habitation and 40 L containers caused the game to hang.

Was patience, it came back about 1 minute later and even though I was looking at a different station, it switched back to the one in question and removed 20 of my L containers and all habitation modules, the previous save state. (Construction had already started on the new containers.) When I tried to replace them and click complete the game hung for good.

I'm not dismissing the possibility of there being a problem, but since it's a common user error, and we've investigated similar reports before only to find that user error was the cause, it would be good to eliminate that possibility first. Once eliminated, if indeed it is, we would then need a way to reproduce any remaining problem to have much chance of solving it. More information such as a savegame and/or a set of steps to make it happen would be a big help.

No criticism meant at all on my part either, I wasn't even going to mention it until I saw a thread for it as mine was part of a hung process whilst testing a different issue.

Had I seen it happen without the other testing I was doing, I would have ignored it, wrote it off as my bad and assumed I needed another cup of coffee personally - all I meant. I have lost count of the times I actually have forgotten to click complete..

CBJ, just as an obvious suggestion for a longer-term fix requiring no response by you, I'd like to see that interface be a little more robust and eliminate the possibility of user error. Make it so that it is impossible to get out of that screen without knowing for sure whether it was saved or cancelled. There's lots of possibilities such as autosaving/autocommitting the changes that can be reversed later, or perhaps the changes are saved automatically as a draft (window state) without committing them if you "esc/del" out of the screen, or perhaps a pop-up "Are you sure you want to discard your changes?" Though I think the latter is probably easiest to implement it's the most obnoxious, albeit acceptable as a stop-gap.

On version 1.50 (326172) , I have the same issue with the player station reverting back to an older build. I load a saved game and check the plan build option on the PHQ, it has 35 completed components and is finishing the 36, hit the confirm configuration button to exit. Will look around the map and other menus for about three real time minutes and return to the PHQ plan build option and last 25 components are waiting to be built. How do I get the saved game to you?

I have screenshots of the issue, before screenshot showing all the installed station components at 100% complete and the after screenshot showing the last 25 components waiting to be built. I don't know how to attach the screenshots to this message.

WIth or without Venture module?

I did add some changes to add turrets and shields.

I will assign a builder to see if the issue resolves itself.

I have a reliable reproduction scenario for this bug, am uploading save file.

Reproduction steps:

1) Download the save file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HssZPk ... sp=sharing
2) Load the game. I'm playing completely vanilla non-beta (not sure if there is a current beta) 1.50, so hopefully no issues there.
3) Go to the property menu part of the map.
4) Right click on the HQ station, open the build plan.
5) Examine the build queue. Note there are three large paranid domes. One completed, one at 60-ish percent complete, and one not yet started.
6) Select the L paranid dome that has not yet been started, right-click and delete.
7) Confirm module changes.
8) Save the game in a new slot.
9) Load the game you just saved.
10) Open the build plan and observe that the third L paranid dome (which you should have deleted from the plan in step 6) is back in the plan.

This bug is listed as fixed in the 1.60b3 patch notes:
[Beta 3] Fixed planned station builds being lost after saving and loading.
