Long range scanning:
Is there any hope to turn this into a passive thing or at least into a something as simple as "press the button and get a perfect scan"? Having to rely on a mini-game (or some sort of qte) feels completly off to me.
Ship scanning:
I'm talking here about the ability to scan a specific ship here. Is it possible to create a keybind for this action and/or to get rid of the mini-game? By the time I select the optionmy target is usually not in the center of my screen anymore (which fails the scan usually multiple times in a row as I just can't get it right except against super big things). And once again it feels off, as if my super advanced space ship came equiped with some sort of super rudimentary scanner.
Relief pilot:
Is it possible to assign them to ... well to anything that isn't the pilot chair? While cockpits for S ships are to small for that, it would be nice when flying something bigger to not have to interact with the chair, wait until the pilot get out of the way and interact with the chair again (especially as a fair amount of missions require the use of the space suit).

Re: Can thoses be modded?
There is two mods for LR scanning that i know of.
Mod 1 extends the range to be system wide and its speed is increased.
Mod 2 changes the scan to be spherical in nature which makes it originate from the ship in all three dimensions.
Both are available on the nexus, yet neither make it an automated process and you still have to look and rescan.
