The starting ship elite vanguard can use the option explore with a captain (I know it's inefficient but i use it anyway).
I bought a nova vanguard and put a captain in it, but the explore option is greyed out. Why is that? Does a captain have to have a certain skill level to explore?

Yea I think he needs to be higher than 1 star experience otherwise he`s too scared.
1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
