[BUG] Station Managers disappear

Soo i used some hours working around this bug but in the end i found the problem

1. I build the station
2. i assigned a crewman from a ship to the station as manager
3. Everything seemed okay and i put money in the station account etc.
4. the ship left the station and i continued playing

then when i came back the station manager was gone and that is when strange things happened. i couldn't assign a manager eventhou it said i had no manager (i knew i had assigned one, but he was gone)

this happened to 2 out of 5 of my stations.

The way i fixed it was to docked ALL my ships. Once the ship i originally assigned the managers from landed on the station i could again see him in the station information tab. Here i could start a convosation with him and assign him to something else. after that i could again assign a new manager to the stations.

REASON: what created the bug is i assigned a crewman/marine, he is then stuck on the teleportpad inside the ship. but aslong as the ship is docked everything seems fine. Once the ship undock the station manager disappears from the information tab.

Solution: Make pathing for crewmembers to leave the ship (just like if you assign the captain to manager)

I have the same bug regulary.
I found something to fix it temporarly (saving the game and reload the save) but it's not satisfaying IMO.

Egosoft should fix it asap.

I guess this is a bug that happens if the ship leaves the station before the manager manages to leave the ship. I had it once so far. Though I do not remeber anymore how I solved it. I think I docked the ship again myself or let the AI land took over the pilot chair and teleported to another ship.

Edit: I think I visited the managers office after landing and then he was sitting there.

It's a bug related to characters no disembarking, yes. If you look on the ship that you told to drop off the crew member you will see someone in an elevator, stuck on stairs, etc. By taking manual control of the ship you can land it at that same station so the crew member can finish disembarking, as a work around.

What I've been doing is telling a ship to go to the station and then when it arrives I teleport there and make sure they disembark.

Make sure that your manager is actually in the chair before you leave the station. Otherwise, they will leave with the ship that you transferred them from.

They should really have timeouts for npc actions. If the manager doesn't leave your ship after 60 seconds, just teleport him there. If cargo drones don't return to your ship after 3 minutes because they got stuck on the way, just teleport them back.

Better than letting you wait indefinitly.

You have to locate the manager manually. Leave the ship, go to the elevator and check every option available. On the right you see the NPCs in the area. Find one containing your manager, search it thouroughly. He's probably stuck in one of the elevators in the area. Find him, move him back to the ship, reassign him as the manager and follow him as he walks to his office. Do not leave the station until he's in his chair.

This worked for me.
