When you assign a ship to trade for a station and try to change the wares it transports (eg. assigning an M freighter to only purchase Energy Cells, or only sell Engine Parts,) it reverts to buying/selling ALL of the wares that the station has offers for upon completing its next order. This can seriously impact the efficiency of a station. Is this a bug, or is it intentional?
Thank you in advance.

If it's a subordinate of the station, the manager of the station controls the whitelist and decides what to bring in or what to ship out.
It's pretty inefficient at first but once the stock levels are stable, it will focus on shipping out stuff to sell.. or at least that's the case with my PHQ.

It'd be way more efficient if the manager didn't send the largest freighter he has out to collect 100 energy cells while using the courier to ship mass amounts of the end product, though, hence why the player's control should supersede the manager's.AN7AG0NIS7 wrote: ↑Wed, 12. I agree with you. I don't know if it's a bug or intentional but that's just how it is. My workaround was to use all scouts/couriers instead of actual M/L cargo ships. Worked well enough for my illegal wares trade.IronSquid501 wrote: ↑Wed, 12.
