So I captured a vessel and the marine automatically becomes a captain.
Now I want to recrute a real captain at a warf but when i reassign the marine/captain to marine duty (at the same ship) he remains captain so I can't get a real captain in this ship
bug or feature?

Is the ship docked? I'm not sure if you can switch captains mid-air.
You can always board the ship, talk to the captain directly, make him a marine and then promote whoever you like. It works differently if you're aboard, because the game treats the ship as yours directly.
