Hi all,
I know it has been discussed numerous times that TIR support didn't make it in time for release (even if initially it had been promised). I accepted this, as explained by CBJ, that Egosoft now had to fix more pressing issues first, like real game breakers.
However, since there's now a video explaining some of the new 1.5 and 2.0 features, I'm very surprised this was not mentioned. Can someone please clarify what the timeline for TIR support is?
TrackIR after 2.0 Patch?

I too would love to know this.
Playing without TIR is strange, I keep moving my head and nothing happens!

I'm afraid we can't give an exact timeline, but rest assured that we haven't forgotten about it and aren't likely to do so.

Honestly and with all respect, that's disappointing. You are promising to add new features that weren't originally planned for the game already in 1.5 and 2.0, but a feature that was promised (and one reason I made the purchase) can't be specified for a given patch yet.
Out of a hundred or more games this is one of two I preordered. Now I'll get a refund on GOG and buy it at a later date when TIR is available.
regards

We did not "promise" to add TrackIR. We said that we planned to do so at some point after release, and that remains the case. But while there are higher priority items it has to wait, so we can't give an exact date for it.Helmut_AUT wrote: ↑Tue, 11. Dec 18, 12:22 Honestly and with all respect, that's disappointing. We wait with baited breath and I`d love to see Trackir before Christmas ... but I guess we will have to wait if not possible.CBJ wrote: ↑Tue, 11. Dec 18, 12:41We did not "promise" to add TrackIR. But please have Trackir implemented at some point early in the New year.
Danke.

1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
Yes, for immersion. Thankyou ahead of time. (Edit: This is actually happening!!!)
