No exits to disembark from your spaceship

Searched didnt find nothing but a few on steam reporting the same problem... Start a new game. enter your ship... exit destinations are only listing the ship you are standing inside of and far as I can tell permantely stuck inside it short of spacewalks but no way to exit after docking somewhere...

Flown to many different stations and such... cant exit my ship ever. Is this normal? or am I just missing something. I cant even complete the tuts because I cant leave my ship.

When you dock somewhere, your cockpit opens and you can simply walk out of your ship. You don't need to use the transporter.

I'll look again but far as I could tell there is no open doors at all. I see the side door and ladder before getting in but after inside nothing. I'll go look again. thank you if it really is that obvious, prob all the eye candy distracting me too much

side question: how do you delete save games they appear to be clouded via steam cuz my lappy has the same savegames as my main rig

and yes it seems to be fine that side door now is showing open. odd that again or just far too distracted to notice. dogh!

So you should be able to find your save-files here: C:\Users\<Your-Win-Username>\Documents\Egosoft\X4
At least its stored there for me. I hope this helps.

yeah the problem is deleting them does nothing because they are cloud stored apparently and the local file is nothing but carbon copies. like I said started playing on my pc, but when I installed in on the laptop I found my savegames there as well so I kept playing the same game I was at home... which dont get me wrong is awesome in itself.

Start the game, delete the files while the game is running and then exit the game. You should find that they are then deleted from the cloud too.

ty simple enough just didnt think it would since its stored locally two dif places I'll give it a shot thanks. short of deleting them on both in offline mode maybe
