1.30 Map background was replaced by first person view of player in pilot chair

Not sure how it happened, but i was scanning a station in hope to unlock a habitat module blueprint, when the game turned on the map mode by itself.

Then, as title says, in the map background the player character was shown (i guess it was the player, or perhaps some other pilot - how would i know) sitting in cockpit chair in full screen size making map details (zones/highways/ships) barely visible.

I got out the chair, yet on the map screen it was still showing the same pilot. Repeated a few times, teleported in/out, same situation.

Couldn't even save afterwards (was greyed out), had to exit game to load earlier save file to recover from this state.
