I got the mission to save a ship in a minefield, ok I fly next to the ship, no issues here, mines are highlighted, I blow up some of them, and I accidentally hit the travel mode hotkey, my ship move toward the mines and before I realize BOOM...
After reloading a save of an eternity before, I find a similar mission, this time no highlight of the mines, I try to get closer to the ship, nothing except me exploding of course, I try again, and again, and again, until I start to loose patience and shot at the mines, they are hard to see but oh well that's better than blowing up...After clearing the mines, mission messages were not clear and of course they ask me to take my suit and fix something, then to find a suit dock, I spend 5 minutes looking around the ship for nothing, get back in my ship, get back around the other ship, and this time I have an option to dock that wasn't available previously, then in the middle of the minefield (not all were cleared) when I took control of the ship, I see my stupid commander inside my own ship flying around like an idiot, probably survived by a mix of miracle and me clearing enough mines...
I select him and he want to go to a space station apparently, right click delete orders...Right click delete all orders...Right Click, Delete All Orders, please...RIGHT CLICK DELETE ALL ORDERS...Nope.
Ok a failed trigger can happen, no game are perfect, but the interface, OH MY GWAD, once we know it, we can use it but before that it don't feel intuitive at all !
So here are a list of things to change :
First off, you need to realize that X4 is among the rare game that allow to fly capital ship, Elite Dangerous with the Anaconda is just at the Frigate level, Star Citizen REQUIRE you to be online and to have several friend players with you to control capital ship, the only other game that allow that that I know of are other X games...And the ability to fly capital ship was the only reasons why I learn about and started playing X3TC.
So why are you acting more and more as if one of the best feature of X games is totally optional and should barely exist ?
In short, Why can't I use my turrets manually ?
Just right now X4 is running and before docking I saw a criminal, problem I am inside a cargo ship, I think you see the problem, cargo ship = turret only = turret don't want to shoot for IDK what reasons = impossible to shot the criminal = if it was a pirate I would be dead for no reasons.
Just give back the damn turret control, you pizza eaters !

In a more serious note here is my list :
-Allow manual control over turrets
-Bigger interior with multiple room in big ship, even if there are only 2 or 3 different interior, a place where we can see crew members and feel like having a BIG ship.
-Match Speed shouldn't be toggle, it should end when target is destroyed, or put two keys for that at least.
-A way to give order OTHER than changing default behavior.
Right click menu need :
-Stop (the ship will only pause other orders)
-Flee (ship reach nearest friendly station, change sector if needed)
-Follow me (Follow, dock at same station, undock and keep follow until stop order is given)
-Protect me (Self explanatory)
-Come to me (The ship come by and then resume what he was doing, handy when a ship need protection but just for a minute or so or avoid getting inside undesired area)
-"Hazardous Region" should either be drastically reduced in damage per seconds or warned about by an NPC when entering the system, it make no senses that there are no warnings about it and it is insta death for new players who ignore about it.
-Ship informations should have it's own tab like player informations and shouldn't be in map, make no sense to see what's inside the cargo bay from the map, those should be in the "interactions with the ship" tab as lateral tabs.
-Allow turrets customization similar to X3 with flack, fast anti fighters, slow anti capital ship turrets.
-Way more turret slot per ship, with large, medium and small sizes.
-Label saying what turret icon mean when mouse over and changing.
(Edit oops already a thing, sorry)-Space Suit having a zero velocity button.
-Preload ship captain to avoid having him/her being half see through.
-Peoples on station should have defined traits and job, we should find ship commander with several stars, soldiers and crew with different skill and specialization.
-Possibility to set in a specific station job offer where NPC with close enough traits wait in the landing area for a certain time, it would feel more authentic than hoping to find someone with good traits, irl we ask for certain profiles.
I think most of the other changes are already mentioned by a lot of peoples so I'll stop the list here.
