Xenon ship have hull autoregen in combat?

Xenon ship have hull autoregen in combat?

Hi,

I've just fought and destroyed a xenon branch 9 destroyer K in Matrix sector https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/20 ... 2257-1.jpg
What surprised me during the fight is that the ship had hull regeneration. I was flying a paranid gorgon, with beam turrets and bolt repeaters as main guns. I noticed that when only my turrets were shooting at the xenon destroyer, his hull was repairing slowly, even under light but sustained fire. :?
Only my main guns were able to do enough damage to lower the hull faster than the autoregen.
Is it something new? Or a Xenon thing? I don't remember capital ships having autoregen on the hull before. :gruebel:

Well they did in XR, so I would expect it in X4. I would also expect that hull region would happen with any cap ship with a talented engineer on board. Haven't tried it though.

If you think that's bad. Try to destroy a station. They repair 20 percent per video frame.

That's interesting, I didn't know that.
Means you can't use a S fighter, hide in a dead angle of a big cap ship and destroy it in one hour if you don't have enough firepower.
