Xenon Shipbuilding

I don't know the reason why the AI doesn't produce ships as often as it should, but I feel like the Xenon in particular can't produce ships because they don't have a supply chain bringing in the resources needed to build ships. They have mining ships but where are the mining ships taking minerals? unless defense platforms and shipyards are all in one refinery plants, I don't see how this is supposed to work.

I know the code SAYS Xenon builds ships but does it say anything regarding as to how they do it without spawning resources? If they just spawn resources it makes more sense to just spawn the ships themselves rather than have them built.

Very confusing.

Pretty much every Xenon is dead in my game and they haven't begun to produce more ships, yet. But I'm using an old save.

Yeah in mine too just went there and I found one Energy ship, One Miner and One M nothing else there except of a few stations. My guess is the Teladi invaded with a great fleet and are now gate camping. While the Xenon have a hard time to recover from this.

I went and destroyed a whole bunch of combat drones at a xenon defence platform, and a short time later a whole bunch of xenon freighters started arriving at the station, presumably with new drone parts, so they seem to be doing something.
