Unable to resolve mission

Hi Egosoft,

Enjoying the game overall so far.

One issue I'm having is being unable to complete part of a guild mission.

I have a guild mission with Argon in the Argon vs Holy Order tree.

The mission selected is defence preparation and the first part of the that mission is Looking for Pilots.

This requires me to deliver a 3 star morale and 3 star piloting skill pilot to a specific station.

The issue I'm having is, I have 2 small ship and 1 pilot. My pilot is assigned to my second ship. I don't seem to be able to hire any more pilots through the ship upgrade menu.

I suppose I could run around and hire crewmen then keep promoting them until I get lucky but this seems long winded and costly. I don't think I've seen any pilots walking around for hire.

Is there another way of hiring pilots into your hold that I'm missing?

I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to get one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Or is there a way to find out crew members stats before you buy them? Like an upgrade or something?

I think you can hire them as crewman, as they don`t lose there skills. The mission will just see the skills and complete the mission.

that type of pilot is going to be most readily found through buy new ships basic cheap model no non required upgrades, if pilot isnt what you need sell it and redo. Unfortunately there is currently no way I have found of hiring pilots without a ship.
