Like telling them to dock and stay docked (mainly rep drones) they try to always heal you when you're damaged. I want to move on but I can't tell them to stay docked.
Also I can't launch any drones myself... Is it all automated? If so that seems like a silly choice to make in the design of drones.
No drone commands?

No bindable drone commands, no bindable wing commands, no bindable turret commands. No bindable boarding commands. They expect you to fiddle with multiple clicks while flying evasively in combat, It's a stupid oversight by developers who didn't actually play their game with a hotas (or at all).

I sometimes wonder how you can overlook something that obvious in developement.

It's worse than that - Repair drones will hit against the hull of your ship as you try and use travel drive - cause damage and knock you out of travel drive. They functionally CC you in combat situations so You are better off equipping them at a dock, let them repair, then selling them back to get rid of the liability (L and XL ships).
