Anybody Else Still Having Medium Turret Problems in 1.3?

Just capped a Nemesis gave it a refit but turrets won't fire. Anybody else still having problems? Is it the Nemesis in general, or maybe capped ships?

I have been moaning about turrets since 1.20 or 1.21. Capped a Minotaur turrets do nothing at all. Nothing from tech support

I have been moaning about turrets since 1.20 or 1.21. Capped a Minotaur turrets do nothing at all. Nothing from tech support
Yeah, I had that too. Now, the capped Nemesis in 1.3....

Maybe the problem is capped ships?

Have not really followed the turret discussions. But I can say that my medium trader with two turrets was attacked by a single small ship and did not hit it once I think. I was out of zone so could not see it.
Think it was outfitted with the "rail gun" turret. The pirate fighter had no problem hitting my trader though.
This was today in version 1.3.

This was today in version 1.3.
Yeah, accuracy is a problem, but these turrets will not even fire... On a side note, beams seem to hit, if you can get turrets to fire.

I believe this might happen under 2 circumstances.

The capped ship is from the same faction attacking you. It's a bug.

Or, the attacking ship is a pirate pretending to be a main faction, and your ship is being tricked. This is also a bug I believe. If you kill those ships, you take a rep hit with the actual faction. So yea, it's buggy.

Interesting, I was attacking the same faction I capped it from. I'll see how the turrets act against xenon....

I have read that there are issues with capped ship behavior, it's not that much about turrets as about capped ships.

Yes, you are correct. I purchased the exact same Nemesis model from the HOP wharf and the turrets work fine.

So yeah, it seems as if captured ship have a problem with turrets AND with turning hostile to the player's ship. As has been theorized, it probably has something to do with "left over scripts" attached to the ships... Hopefully, someone (ES or modders) will fix this eventually.
