Could someone explain in detail when it would be preferable to use one over the other? What is the technical difference between those two orders?
And why does the behaviour change need a certain skill amount while the right click auto-trade does not?
[1.3] QUESTION: Why does AutoTrade from behaviour tab need 3 stars, while Right-Click -> AutoTrade (Galaxy) does not?

Darn it, you just tipped off the devs to this exploit. LOL. I was wondering the same thing and assumed it was a bug but I'm not sure. This behavior has been shown in numerous streams, some of which I know Egosoft devs were watching because they were commenting during the stream and the streamer was using this feature, so it's either a small bug with low importance, or it's intended behavior.
Regardless it's a valid question.

Autotrade Galaxy gives you no control over what is being traded, so you'll have your M freighter run energy cells for 10.000k a pop. The 3 star trading lets you select which products to trade, which average out to 80k a run (for me).

I am pretty sure you can still remove items from the trade list with Auto Trade Galaxy. It's just the reverse of the AutoTrade behavior where you explicitly ADD things to trade.

Really? Mine is completely broken, my auto trader never leaves the sector and trades for a plus of 500 to 1000 credits per run. Never even fills up the cargo hold.Brotkrumen wrote: ↑Fri, 7. Haven't seen that option. Where is that hidden?
It's very spotty. Ranged from a few hundred creds to 50k usually, but averages out to 10k I think.

After you add the order to "Auto-trade Galaxy" click the dropdown on the queued order itself. Then you can hit the 'X' next to each product you do not wish to trade.

As far as I am aware the right click Autotrade will stop if the ship is attacked, whereas the default action auto trade will run from pirate then start trading again.
