I don't know if it is intended or not but here is my issue.
I'm using ships and "move to" commands to explore sectors.
So basically, in a sector, I give one ship a lots of "move to" orders which cover the entire "orignal" sector size.
While the ship is discovering the sector, it usually discover the stations / portals and any other things.
But, they also miss a lots of station / portal...
Here is what I did to be sure :
- Scan a sector with long range scanner (to have the small "?" on the sector map)
- Send a ship (using Move to command) near the "?"
I expect the ship to discover the station but it still the "?"
When I teleport inside the ship, the icon remains "?"
As soon as I take control of the ship, the "?" change to the station logo.
Is it an intended behavior ?? All my pilots are at least 2 stars (as I buy them with the ship) and I expect them not to be blind

I can understand that you can miss a station visually, but here we are talking about radar (and yes, the station is definitely inside the radar range) so I don't expect an electronic device missing a big station that wants to be discovered to make profits !
All my ships are equipped with the long range scanner Mk2 (which I don't think they can use on their own...) and the police scanner
It seems that the more longrunning the simulation is, the more mistake their are.
With a fresh start, my ships does not miss anything, but after a few hours of game, they start missing a lot of stations (one of them missed 80% of the stations / portals in one sector)
