Just wondering if anyone else is noticing problems with out of system combat.
There was a fighter and a trader stuck fighting in the same spot (on top of each other) for several hours with neither dishing out damage. When I entered the sector the Fighter then dispatched the trader within a few minutes.
Another example would be the HOP invasion of sector -2 -3 against the xenon. My friend encountered this massive engagement fairly early on due to exploration. I then experienced a nearly identical engagement when discovering the same sector for the first time. Only difference is I discovered it 10 hours later then his game.
So it looks like OOS combat isn't simulating properly in my game if at all. Anybody else experiencing this?
Is OOS Combat working as intended?

I think some engagements are just scripted and only happen when the player comes close.
