1.21 BUG Gorgon not repairing its hull

I have a damaged Gorgon and it is not auto repairing.

I have loaded it with 8 repair drones and 7 service crew.
I’ve tried piloting it myself and assigning a captain.

• Is there something else I need to do to trigger hull repair?
• Am I doing something wrong?
• Is this a bug?
• Or simply not how it works?

Having the same issue with a cerberus. It has 10 repair drones and the hull is below 10%, drones don't do anything.
I noticed with the Paranid destroyer, that I claimed in a xenon sector, that the drones it had launched and repaired automatically. My guess is frigates are just bugged and can't use drones atm

This is still the situation after the last patch. Any ideas?

Ive experimented with this and looked around at other people’s posts.

It seems this is a bug with captured ships.

I stripped and and traded it for a new one with the same configuration and it now works fine.
