You've been doing it the hard way in X4:F, see my post above.Mist Dragon wrote: ↑Fri, 7. Dec 18, 07:00 map, 2nd icon down on the left (shift + P works too), find your ship, right click, information, then at the top there are 2 tabs, 2nd tab, go to the default behavior, set default behavior, select dock and wait, the destination, pick your destination, then confirm.
One day I hop they bring back the right click the ship and you can then tell it 'dock at' like in x3...but well...for now we do it the 30 step method.
No, left click your ship to select it, and then right click elsewhere to get a context menu for your ship's interactions. For example, if you right click a station, you can tell your ship to dock.Mist Dragon wrote: ↑Fri, 7. Dec 18, 07:09 well if I right click my ship, I have Orders: remove all orders....or I can go to information to get to where the default orders are, on the 2nd tab, which won't show if I was last on the first tab.
This is currently one of the things that does annoy me that I'm hoping will eventually be fixed. Most everything takes a lot of steps to do, if not for the fact I love the game I'd have given up and waited 3 months for maybe a bit less cludgy interface.
If you want to see what orders are queued so you can delete them selectively, Select your ship on the map, then go to information. At the top are two boxes, and click the right one. It'll show a list of current orders.Socratatus wrote: ↑Fri, 7. Dec 18, 08:42 You may still have to delete your other orders temporarily or your ship will Dock, then just talke off again immediately. I know when I ordered it, he docked but before I could get in, he would take off. In the end I just cancelled all his orders except for docking!
Finally, I got, "Waiting for your permission to take off!" or similar.
Still getting used to this system.
