How i love this kind of "i want..." topics.
How about: Learn to mod and do it on your own instead of "i want..." and "Can someone make..."

The weapons wouldn't be all that hard to do, but the models and stuff would take a lot of time and effort, and they'd be much more fun to look at than fly, to make the broadside weapons work right, they'd probably have to be made turrets, so that they could aim in a direction separate from the direction the ship was pointing.

The boarding torpedoes part would probably require a major rewrite of the base game's boarding code, which means that anytime anything related to boarding/capture was updated it'd require a rewrite or at least a heavy touchup, so that would be beyond the scope of possibility to maintain for a while till the game reaches a more long term stable state. Not to mention it'd require some sort of UI to grab the number of marines you wanted to send, which isn't possible at all at the moment.

Aside from that part, it''s an awesome concept.

If anyone was thinking of doing this, you can unpack the data files from the game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada and open the ship files in the unreal editor. They have beautiful models. They would obviously have to be heavily modified to work, but you'd still have a baseline model to work with.

The only thing is that isn't OUR IP to distribute, so it becomes a legal issue when you do that. If the game or it's models were public domain, that would be okay, but I do not want to risk getting sued. If I were able to get permission from the developers of that game, it would be cool, butttt that's not going to happen because others then see it as a free license to pirate, etc ,etc, etc.
