Still freezing momentarily on save

Using current build - 1.21 (323806) English
not modified using any third party scripts or mods
Game start -The Unworthy Entrepreneur
made no changes to game aside from putting settings on lowest possible

might be due to video card (new one on the way) but still wanted to inform that momentary freezing during saves still happens on my system.

Mine freezes while saving too. Also while opening the game at first, it takes about 3-4minutes for the continue and load buttons to appear. They just say "Processing.." to begin with.
I took a look in the savegame folder and the savegame files are at roughly 200MB each. With 10 savegames + 3 autosaves, it sums up to 2,6GB in savegames alone.

Is this really how it's meant to be?! I don't know of any other games that make SO huge savegames.

I might add that deleting a few of those files increased the loading speed significantly, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with system load while saving all 200MB.
