1.21 BUG unable to dock on captured med ship - Fix coming in 1.30

save_001 is just before taking out the mines

save_005 is after mines removed and after the ship was successfully hacked in space suit (first time I actually used repair tool on spacesuit, this save is after I got close enough to decrypt the signal, both times the ship turned green)

Says docking request denied on shift-d even though ship is green.

When I get back in my ship there is no option to claim ship or board ship.

I am pretty sure that even empty/abandoned M sized ships have to be boarded with one or more marines and that scanning leaks (even if present) does not properly transfer their ownership. In this respect the tutorial for scanning leaks and claiming may be incorrect for M sized targets.

In any case still a bug, if you can not capture it in suit it should not turn green.

Further, it shows as having a pilot but with no stats, and of course does not respond to any commands.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in a dev response that only L and XL needed marines (as an only option), that med and smalls could be hacked and boarded with a suit. I have been reading a lot tho so.. don't quote me lol


edit: PS, I am having a great time.. 2d 4hrs into my current game and really everything has been mostly working great..and its beautiful, and the few real bugs are being addressed by the devs.. so ya

This issue is being fixed in build 1.30 where the scan leak and dock tutorial method should work for M size ship targets.
