Yes, you can run out of air in your suit.
I was kidnapped by an AI ship early game, and in desperation got out and tried to reach a nearby station.
It did not go well. I noticed my breathing seemed to get a little more laboured and... dead. It took about 10-15 minutes, didn`t get a chance to properly time it.
It seems to me really strange that there`s no oxygen limit meter or even an alarm to let anyone in a space suit know how much air he has left. Is this not something that should be essential?
We need some kind of Oxygen gauge or meter for our Spacesuit.

1. Please do more on NPC civilian/uniform variety, and bio customisations, Devs.
2. Stations need sirens/warnings when enemy is close in numbers or Station in danger of destruction (in Sandbox).
Yes, for immersion. Thankyou ahead of time. (Edit: This is actually happening!!!)

I just posted something similar. CBJ confirmed there is an oxygen limit and ya know when your low coz your breathing gets heavier but, I totally agree, a gauge is needed.Socratatus wrote: ↑Thu, 6. Dec 18, 17:42 Yes, you can run out of air in your suit.

in x4 there is no warning or info about anything it seems. when i go to buy station blueprints there is no way knowing what im buying. if your ship gets stuck somewhere there is no warning that its not working, if there is a trader cant find trades its just keep searching, no notifications also. seems to be a design choiceSocratatus wrote: ↑Thu, 6. Or perhaps even Dead Space auxiliary air tanks to keep in our inventory that refills our primary tank when depleted.

It can`t be a design choice. That makes no logical sense. Clearly they didn`t have the time to implement it. I`m certain they will.
