Holy Order underpowered?

I know war's off right now, but does it seem like the HOP are set up for an immediate and major whooping right off the bat? I mean, they're in a three-front war with ARG/ANT on one side, the Xenon on the other side, and finally the Godrealm on another, while only possessing 4 sectors. They're currently kicking Xenon ass in my game with no other threats around, but I feel like once they start getting pressed they're going to get squashed like a bug. With their size, even ANT/ARG ought to be able to steamroll them with little trouble given how massive they are.

I haven't honestly seen a single skirmish on any of the so-called "warring borders" yet, despite having signed up on both sides to help Argon and Paranid

Maybe if they are the underdog, it would be a fun game-start to try to give the player some serious combat.... 4+ enemies, only 1 ally in a small area of space. Make the most of that game start if you can! It would be like the super-tough X3 game start where you were some kind of military exile (can't really remember it but it was absolutely nails tough and everyone wanted to kill you lol)

Hehe, I do remember those starts. I think it was Poisoned Paranid, Tormented Teladi, and Betrayed Mercenary where everyone or a significant number of factions hated you?

Still though, wondering if once wars get turned on next patch I'm going to join the Argon war against HOP and see them wiped out before I actually get to do anything.

I got enough Rep with them to gain faction missions to attack ARG/PAR forces.

My fears may have been unnecessary, started a new game with 1.3 and they are kicking everyone's teeth in at the same time, haha!
