Is it me or is the deadzone at 0% just terible i have to push if around 50% befor it react in game makin presision movement imposible on an other node "elite dangorus" I bearly have to touch it befor it moves makin persision movement a cake walk
If it is of any help (X52 pro.) I only have acceleration fixed to the throttle, for reverse and fine movement I use mouse wheel,, not perfect by any means but at least acceleration is smooth and I can come to a full stop plus I rarely use reverse... Not satisfactory though. !!!
Had the same problem with my X52, found a thread on the forum somewhere as to a fix. Program the functions in the left hand column (analog) instead of the right hand (digital) column.
It has taken me quite a bit of fiddling to get things working. But here is what I have come up with.
deadzone 5%
bidrectional throttle on (otherwise only half of throttle is used)
game pad off (fixed dead zone having to over react to correct)
adaptive steering off (if on at some random point x, y, and z axis on joystick will remap incorrectly and cant be correctly remapped until turned off again)
**general**
primary steering x axis on joystick
secondary steering z rotation on joystick
steer up-down y axis on joystick
Throttle x axis on throttle
accelerate x button 21 on throttle (silver thumb buttons)
decelerate z button 25 on throttle (silver thumb buttons)
**menu**
clear all analog settings (removes uncontrolled ship wandering when in menus)
Hope this helps someone. would really like to use reverse thrust on throttle, anyone know please let me know.
just me derping and my stick set to digital not analog I how ever dont agree with the game been optimised for H.O.T.A.S as it need more analog possible binds as my brain is hard wiret to left and right is roll and the game can only be use til left and right turn Dev can we plz get more just 6 analog controls
