Fleet Mining Fleet

I want to set up a mining fleet.

I ordered a ship to automine (standard behaviour mine) It works.
I ordered a transport to autotrade for that mining ship. It seems it switched to escort role.

My idea was one is mining, other ships are hauling. Is that possible?

you dont need a trader. the automine comand will min till full and then search for trades. S+M Class just needs a laser if mining minerals and then do all on their own. bigger ships need transport drones in order to trade.

Make sure your automine comand has enough range (per jumpgate) included to reach stations to trade.
