Mining problem

I finally buy a mining ship, give it 2 drills, very nice I'm happy, I get it back to argon prime, tell it to mine ore in a nice rocky area.

It does it, fills it solid storage with ore.....

Now I am in my pimpride, not the mining ship, so I look at the ship list, click my miner, found the ore refinery and they are buying ore, yay... so close...

Rclick the ore refinery with my miner still selected, Trade with ore refinery... omg its gonna work

window pops up,lets me tell it to sell X ore @ whatever price is.... home free! gimme da money... wait a second...

It says my ship has 0 ore on board, I know it has only 1 ware, ore and over 1,000 units.
Even this window shows my solid storage is full.... wth am I missing here?

Clicking ore, tells me....
"Ship does not have the required/desired item"

WTF?!?!

Q: How in the world do I get my miner to sell this ore it has collected (once full, it just sits in space). I dont even mind selling it manually, but it wont do it.
