weird ending by accidently firing lasers on a empty medium trade ship

Post by looneyed »

Something weird just happened.
An empty medium trading ship with mines around it. Sitting still without any pilot.
If you try to claim it says its not possible.
If you fire you hand lasers on it.

The game ends...

if you fire it with your ship. It ends the game..

Anyone got this in his game?

Snake, you've created a time paradox!

Sometimes I've had these placed in trade lanes. I get a brief vision of traders blowing up in the middle of the area, before my autopilot runs through it too killing me.

Always fun.

I've had missions where I had to go and clear mines out from around a ship before, maybe what you saw was generated for a local mission?
