1.21 BUG/FEEDBACK Cannot tell what items are "New" in Encyclopedia

When browsing my in-game Encyclopedia on 1.21 (public release, not beta), I see new entries in some sections, e.g. Ships -> Combat Ships -> Fighters and Support Ships and it says (45 Entries)(2 New), yet when I browse to this section I cannot tell what entries I've already read up on and which are the two new entries for me to feast my eyes upon... Please help (e.g. obvious bolded, maybe even green lettering to match the (1 New) color.
