If I don't want a station I own...
Is there a way to sell the stations you own?

That's a shame. I'd kind of rather have the cash than the Sunflower Factory you start with in the Teladi start.

Might as well just leave it alone, it can keep making you money even if you ignore it.

I'd love a way to sell/dismantle. I've got a dozen or so hanging around from build a defense platform quests, and there might only be one or two in a good enough location to bother developing. I'd rather hand things off to the AI, or worst case clear them out. Unfortunately you don't seem to be able to tear them down completely because you need a dock/pier in order to commit changes to the design, and you can't delete a non-empty plot. You could blow them up, but that's time consuming, and I actually just had my own station report me to the authorities for hitting it with stray fire.

Would really appreciate if anyone can come up with a better way of doing this. The station building missions are absurdly more profitable than anything else I've encountered in-game, so my property list is currently covered in tiny pointless stations - it's more profitable to keep accepting these quests and build pointless stations with no economic value than it is to actually develop them.
So far I've been building minimal stations to complete the quest, then demolishing every module except the dock, shipping all of those components to my actual stations (itself pretty time consuming), and then destroying the remaining dock. Even with the main guns on a Paranoid destroyer it takes a long time to destroy a dock. Anyone know what might be quicker? A Nemesis fully loaded with plasma cannons or torpedoes maybe? Is there a way to force my turrets to attack as well?

Once you reach a certain milestone in a playthrough you will unlock a 4th starting option.

Even using SETA during recharge times, it still takes a couple of minutes to destroy a station with a Paranid Nemesis with 5 plasma cannons. Outfitted with five torpedo launchers, it can do it in just three volleys. Unfortunately torpedoes are so expensive that this costs you around 280k. But when you're getting 5mil+ per station building mission, I guess it's not that big a deal.

How? I've tried deleting things in plan/build mode and it doesn't want to do that. I saw that you can remove shields and such from the parts of the station but there doesn't seem to be any refund for doing so.

Oh, is that why that appeared. I thought they added it in a patch.Cobalt_Sixty wrote: ↑Thu, 6. Dec 18, 02:54Once you reach a certain milestone in a playthrough you will unlock a 4th starting option.

when i destroy the remaining dock , it still stays in the list , it gets a grey icon on the map and i can't even build there anymore , tried it 3 times , how did you get around that?Baldamundo wrote: ↑Thu, 6. Someone said it takes about 30 minutes in real life to disapear on your map...I've never tried this myself so maybe it'll workderfuchs wrote: ↑Fri, 7.
