[1.21] Capital Mining Ship Not Collecting Ore

So, I just freshly bought a fully equipped capital mining ship. Unfortunately, after decimating an asteroid, I attempt to collect the ore fragments. I hear the usual blip of something entering my cargo hold as some fragments are collected, but nothing appears in the ship's cargo hold. I also see some of the fragments turning to dust from impacting on the capital ship bridge, implying the ship is destroying them. Not only that, but I thought I'd leave system and let it automine, and it seems to stop itself as if something's wrong, but doesn't say what.

I am uncertain about how to fix this or if I am doing something wrong.

You need collector and cargo drones for capital mining ships.
