How do you manually gas mine while piloting a gas miner?
Doesn’t seem to work unless set to auto mine by npc.

I do not think it is possible for player to mine gas which makes me sad.
I have tried it as well and been unsuccesful at it.
And autominers dont require mining turrets for gas. Rather they act like vacuum cleaners.

Disappointing!
I've just bought a gas mining ship and tried it.I came here looking for
some help with it because I couldn't work out how to do it.
Oh well,at least I know now.I think I'll go back to container trading.
