1.20 Bug - Pilot wont enter ship

Game start being played.
The young gun.

Exact nature of the problem, where and when it occurs and what you were doing at the time.
I hired a new pilot for my small ship and he is stuck at the ladder, that leads to the ship. Reloading and teleporting to another station wont help. I cant start the ship, as it refuses every interaction with the pilot seat. I also cant fire the newly hired pilot.
