Cuddly Xenon?

not sure if this is a bug or not, but first time going through xenon space it was swarmed with various ships and stuff (specifically Faulty Logic and Atia's Misfortune zones) ... an NPC raiding party camped two sides of the gate into Faulty Logic which initially had a fairly decent sized xenon fleet... that doesn't really bother me that much as it seems that the force of xenon at the gate was the largest portion of their numbers... and they have not been making more ships... some small ships roaming around but nothing big, and the insane minefields with over 9000 mines in each of them all through these zones feels like it's a bit overkill or it's just the right amount since no enemy ships are in the area at all... the friendly NPC's seem content just camping the gate though a few builder ships have braved the area and attempted to do something... then they change their minds and run back to safe space... seen them do this a few times, docked a small ship on the builder ships to watch patterns and see if they just build for me or if NPC's are building stations as well... they just seem to be running around not doing much, get bored then run into xenon space for an adrenaline rush before heading back and roaming regular space. but "The Xenon Threat" isn't very threatening atm..

Yeah, there isn't much fight in this X so far. I think they are actually trying to NOT cheat-spawn ships after initial seeding, which if true is actually pretty darned cool.
However the Xenon don't seem to have anything other than shipyards, and I'm not sure if they can create enough stuff to keep them going.

I think they need a massive buff to the seeding of production, or the AI needs to be way more aggressive in throwing up new stations and miners.

I'd even like for it to be strong enough that without intervention from either trade or fight by player, that they'd eventually expand into the rest of space and take it over completely. (or maybe have a home sector of each faction that can't be taken over)

It'd give me something to do :D
X games - addictive as heck. Always something to come back to.

thinking that the lack of xenon might be related to another issue with stations incorrectly identifying resources available to build ships.
