They dont shoot at enemies nor can i shoot manually. On top of the screen the laser symbol is greyed out. But i got them on board!

So turrets are.... finicky... like mine I got rid of my frigate and replaced it with a corvette with 5 forward guns and 2 turrets that only fire 50% of the time they are shot at.
