1.20: Range of bugs - List

Okay here is a bit of a list:

- Have one station where the station manager I assigned appears to be permanently stuck on the dock and never goes to his office (leaving the sector or reloading does not help), this blocks progression.
- I have had one instance of a teleport bug where I teleported to a target and was stuck and could not move, shift-D and then exiting that menu would cause my character to fall a little bit and clear the error.
- Xenon and Khaak have effectively been wiped out in my game, they still have bases in their sectors but they have virtually no ships and the empires have amassed huge fleets at their gates.
- Crew transfers are like playing roulette, it works about half the time and the other half crew members get stuck and do not transfer.
- Claiming ships seems to be bugged, work around is to teleport out and back into the sector after the ship has been captured.
- Not sure if its just my game, but I have a mission to assign a trade vessel which does not clear even if I assign a trade vessel to the station, also auto-mining and auto-trade for station subordinates does not work.

Urgent missing features:
- Locker or safe for player items so we can stash our illegal stuff.
- Three ranges of bar/lounges on stations to actually find crew to hire since there is no single easy place to locate them.
- We need to be able to select "store" or "retract" on docked ships to put them into the internal storage hangers on ships and stations (this should be a global default for the recall subordinates).
- We need dedicated passenger ships to transfer large amounts of people.
- We need to be able to move missiles crates as cargo to resupply L and XL ships.

I might be forgetting a few but that should be more then enough to keep someone busy.

- passengers (/fired personel) gets stuck to the outside of the ship (depending if you undocked quickly after landing/firing them)
- radar ranges randomize after a while
- grid size of region in map doesn't shrink back when something went out of the original range and came back... ok if there is something there to be shown
- some mods crash the game
- when buying a ship some slots cannot be filled in, you can click them in the preview and it takes you to the list of items to fit in that slot, but one of the slots doesn't get filled in
- negative inventory items when completing some "deliver me" missions after they've been inactive for a while
- missions disappearing / no info about where to go what to do
- encyclopedia video top right sometimes shows scrambled image when following link
- PC owned ships can pickup personal inventory items (crystals, eggs, ...) but you never get them anywhere
- training programs don't work
- reduce the bouncing of off surfaces when in Jetpack/EVA. When i'm going through a tunnel I unlocked in a wreck I'm live pinball and it's hard to compensate when you have less than a second between each bounce on the opposite wall
- scanned red missions/blueprint data balls spawn inside stations impossible to get to
- LR scan should have an on-screen bar for the hearing impaired
- LR scan should have on screen indicators for where the pings come from; arrows. It's impossible for hearing impaired to know if there is something to the left/right (or show the blips for a couple of seconds on the map)
- Radar screen on the right should have the name of the system you are in

- For hiring personel, PLEASE have a market for them!! The better they are the more you have to pay them anyway!!

- cant land in Black Sun IV on Equipment-Bay (ger: Ausrüstungsdock) , because all ships do not leave the stations, since hours. Cant quque, get no massage for landing permission or any other message, totally bugged...

-gamebreaking bug: Mission Escape-Plan (ger:Fluchtplan) the Transporter, that you had to protect glitched trought the Equipment-Bay in Black Sun IV and stucked there. I pushed him with boost in free space, but he does not move...

-my galaxy-trader tries since hours to land on a station, but he cant, dont know why, he worked for me a lot of hours but then i asked myself why i do not get any money of him and watched him, he is stucked in free space. he move up and down und left and right, but cant trade anything.

moved my good rating on steam to a bad, because the game is bugged as hell

BIG BUGS
- Station turrets cannot hit a target moving straight.
- Ship turrets are ignoring the player hugging it.

Bugs
- Guild quests can become permanentely inaccessible, the only mission availiable is to talk to guild leader which does not want to talk.
- AI likes to leave docks through the wall.
- Lockers sometimes dont spawn for treasure missions.
- Claim command can send a marine on a journey through the entire universe if you happen to be OOS from the ship youre targeting.
- "Shoot ship until it loses an item" type missions allow the pilot to bail, rendering the mission uncompletable, and the ship unclaimable.
- Shooting the repair laser at a data leak sometimes destroys the leak, and fails the mission if its a part of one.
- Ships assigned to a station in a mining role do not deliver to the station.
- "Mine/Lasertower Destruction" missions spawning mines and lasertowers assigned to the local faction, in case of mines they dont show up hostile, in case of Lasertowers they report you to the authorities if you dont one shot them.

QOL issues
- Space suit has no navball for 3d controls and no option for stabilizing.
- Space suit bounces off surface too violentely, raiding a wreck can result in you pingponging across the shafts.
- Space suit is not affected by large ship magnetism. Big no-no.
- Explodium roids are visually distinct but unscannable.
- Cannot use turrets manually for precision operation like opening lockers.

Balancing issues
- Some sectors end up extremely oversaturated to the point youd have to micro manage a freighter dedicated to fulfilling a single supply mission for hours.
- Player is forced to dump millions of early game exploration credits into space due to no black marketeers being availiable without finding space fly eggs first, of which I havent seen one in over 20 hours of play.

Visual issues
- Player HQ has multiple visible anchor points but only 2 are actually usable.
- Player HQ plasters the player logo all over the roid its attached to.
- Unscanned station parts and scanned structural parts appear identical to the naked eye, needs a darker shade.

- data leaks for missions can appear inside the station graphic/collision box, making it impossible to complete the mission.

Im pretty sure the tech support forum is not for compiling lists, but reporting bugs individually.

Nothing, aside from hundreds of mines there is nothing in their sectors I have sat coverage of the sectors.

Also, as mentioned above the crew transfers getting stuck all the time is super annoying late game. I have multiple stations and ships with broken crew transfers that I can't complete or cancel.
