[1.20][Bug] Dialog while on walkway made character drift into space

Description of problem:
I was near a dock when I shot and destroyed a criminal. I immediately docked, got up, and started running towards a Trader. As I was running (double-tap W) on a moving walkway a NPC popped up on my screen rewarding me credits for killing the criminal. At the same time (or after the NPC's face went away?), I started drifting into space!

I could look around, but the movement keys didn't seem to affect my character as she continued to move up and away from the ground and drift into space.

I tried teleporting to my docked ship (with Shift+D), but as soon as I materialized in my ship I continued to drift through the ship and into space. I also tried teleporting back to the station (via the map), but again as soon as I materialized in my ship, I continued to drift up and into space.

I then saved the game, and reloaded the save. Immediately upon reload (I think I loaded into space), I continued to drift up and away from the station for at least a second or two, and then I appeared to drop "down" to, I think, a part of the station I was over (not the docking bay, some arm of the station out in space) and only then did I finally stop moving/drifting. I then quickly used Shift+D to teleport back to my ship and the game allowed me to again control my character as normal.
