I fired an unskilled crew member. I mean he was dressed nice, but he wasn't right for the job. He promptly got off my ship, and then stood at the ladder.
Ok, I thought, that's fine, but then I noticed no matter where I land, there he is again. Now that's odd.
Then I went to claim a ship, and turned around, in space, there he was, still standing there... in space... at where the ladder would be. Now I'm creeped out.
How do I get rid of this hanger on?

I think you're gonna have to apologise for being so mean, and hope he accepts it and moves on with his life. The guy obviously has issues...
