[1.20] Unable to try off trigger-like throttle movement after the game detects a controller [Maybe bug?]

Hi all,

I was able to play this game all weekend at my girlfriends house with ever having a xbox one controller hooked up to the computer. After, now that I am back home which has a xbox one controller plugged in, I am getting "trigger like" throttle controllers. Like if I hold "X" it goes straight to the right besides slowly moving to the right. I even deleted my config files found in my documents folder for x4. I bought the game on steam, and even after changing all controller settings to basically be off in the in game menu I still had problems. The game was taking a long time to load on a regular HDD, so I am now reinstalling it on my SSD to still if that will finally fix the problem. (I now have my xbox one controller unplugged, to hopefully not re-create the bug.)

Edit: I am subbed to this post, so if someone replies I will get an email notification. I can no longer play the game because if I move my direction of my ship, the ship will decrease in speed. I cannot play the game because of this.

I uninstalled my game, and this is still happening. No idea how to fix this. Even the controls (keybinds) are set correctly.
