1.20 BUG The Experiment - Flying through the anomaly sends you to random places

After scanning for the anomaly and flying through it you're send to different sectors like Cardinal's Redress instead of Grand Exchange I. The quest doesn't update either and is stuck on "Fly through the anomaly" but no more waypoints are given. When flying back to the anomaly and flying through it again it doesn't lead to the same system either. Seems it's random.

Got through to Grand Exchange I after some reloading of saves and the quest continued normally after.
